Here is a little bit to explain what is going on:

Getting an account:
This is pretty simple. Just fill out the form and submit it. We will mail you (electronically, of course) an activation token to activate your account. If you don't get the token, you will not be able to activate your account, and thus, not be able to post. That is why it is important you enter a valid email address when you sign up. If you are concerned about giving us your email address, check out our privacy policy.

Screen Name:
Any name will do. But, once you submit it, you will not be able to change it, so choose wisely. It is not case sensitive.

Password:
6 or more characters. Your password is not case sensitive either.

Email Address:
Must be a current valid address that you have access to. As with th screen name, you will not be able to change this once you enter it.

Show my email address when I post:
If this box is checked, your email address will be shown in the form of a mailto: link on each post that you make. Otherwise, it will not show up anywhere on the com center or user reviews.

Remember my user name:
If this box is checked, your user name will be stored as a browser cookie and be automatically entered for you when you log in.

Remember my password:
Similar to remembering your user name. Your password will be saved on your computer as a browser cookie and entered for you.

If I forget my password, it's OK to email it to me:
As it implies, our web site will mail you your password if you forget it. Your password will be mailed to the address you specified above.

Lookout! Respects Your Privacy:

We will not send you unsolicited junk mail or share your address with anyone. We only need your address to identify you on the message board. You can rest assured that your address will be kept confidential.
