The comedians collectively known as Human Giant (Aziz Ansari, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, and Jason Woliner) have been given the honor of taking over both MTV and MTV2 for 24 glorious hours, beginning this Friday, May 18th at noon - and they're bringing back former collaborator Ted Leo (who made a cameo appearance in their Clell Tickle: Indie Marketing Guru sketch) to provide some of the soundtrack to the mayhem! From Aziz Ansari's blog:

"Last week, MTV told us we could get 24 hours on MTV and MTV2 to do whatever we want. So this Friday at noon - we'll take over both channels for a full day and will host live from MTV's Times Square studio. They're literally letting us do whatever we want - we can program whatever shows we want, have guests, bands, music videos, anything! We just have to stay up for 24 hours and get a million hits on our website."

Ted will be joined by other performers during the laugh-a-palooza, including music from Tapes 'n Tapes, Tegan and Sara, and Morningwood AND guest appearances by comedians Will Arnett and Michael Cera of Arrested Development, Eugene Mirman, Zach Galifianakis, and the Daily Show's Rob Riggle - plus many more!
